Q12. What will my studies cost?
Refer to the Fees & Costs section for more information.

Q13. What kind of accommodation is available for students?
Foreign students usually share a double room with another foreign student of the same academic year (with a classmate). This is a double room sharing a bathroom and kitchen.

University accommodation is guaranteed for all first year foreign students, and usually throughout the rest of their course. There are also Czech students in the same halls so there is plenty of opportunity to mix with the home students and practice your Czech language skills. It is also possible to rent small apartments which is rather inexpensive. However it is best to opt for university accommodation for the first semester until you get used to the surroundings and can make a better choice.

Q14. How easily available are Asian Foods in Czech Republic?
Prague is a cosmopolitan city and offers a wide choice of international cuisines such as Chinese, Vietnamese, Middle-Eastern, Mexican, Japanese, Indian, Pakistani and others. In the smaller cities like Hradec Kralove and Olomouc, Chinese food outlets are quite common. Asian food supplies such as rice, instant noodles and spices are widely available.

Q15. Is Czech Republic a safe country to live in?
The crime rate for the Czech Republic is relatively low. Prague, being a popular tourist destination, has a problem with pick-pocketing; so students should be vigilant with their belongings when using the public transportation and when sight-seeing in the city.
